It is interesting to me that the woodpeckers come to the suet hangers near my living room window as I work at the computer. It has a calming effect upon me. Then there is the last sunflower whose petals were curled up and that wasn't going to be able to open before the north wind blew and brought the frost and freeze with her.
I brought the sunflower in and now she is opening the last of her beautiful petals before she says her fond goodbye. She came to show us her beauty first. I kissed her.

Happy Tonics has new home in Shell Lake, Wisconsin
The nonprofit is moving next door to 25 Fifth Avenue, Shell Lake, Wisconsin. This store has more windows, floor space and windows. We hope you will come and visit. The store features local fiber art, native seed, teas, herbs and spices, books, collectables, costume jewelry and home decor. Look for all things butterflies and more.
We are a nonprofit environmental education organization and public charity. Happy Tonics, Inc. implemented a Native Wildflower and Butterfly Garden in Shell Lake. This habitat is a restored remnant tallgrass prairie.
